Turn JPG images into PNG or GIF, several at once, or combine them into one animated GIF. Right in your browser.
PNG is lossless, so the converted image looks exactly like the JPG and nothing more is lost if you keep editing it. It cannot restore detail that JPG compression already removed, though, and the PNG is usually a larger file. Convert to PNG when you plan to edit the image further, or when a site or app only accepts PNG. A JPG has no transparency, so the PNG keeps the photo's original background.
GIF holds at most 256 colours. That suits simple graphics, but photos tend to look grainy or banded, so for a single photo PNG is the better choice. Where GIF earns its place is animation. To go the other way and turn PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF or SVG files into JPG, use the JPG converter.
Choose GIF, then Animated, and add at least two JPGs. They play in the order you added them. Set how long each frame stays on screen with Seconds per frame, from 0.05 to 10 seconds, and untick Loop forever if the animation should play only once. Every frame is resized and centre-cropped to the size of the first image, so photos of the same shape give the cleanest result.
